“Striving for Excellence in Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion”

          

                      John Berry, Director of Office of Personnel Management at FAPAC’s 27th National Leadership Training      Conference at Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, GA, 05.03.2012

The FAPAC 27th training conference was successfully concluded on May 4th, 2012 in Atlanta, GA. It had many Sr. leaders speaking at the event including John Berry, Director of Office of Personnel Management, Brian Ronholm, Deputy Under Secretary for Food Safety, U. S. Department of Agriculture and Major General Kelly McKeague, Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for National Guard Matters. Alex Wan from the Atlanta City Council welcomed the attendees. The conference has been endorsed for many years by the Office of Personnel Management as appropriate for federal support and attendance.  The workshops and plenary sessions provided an excellent opportunity for critical leadership and communications training; and the job fair in conjunction with the event provided the opportunity to the student and veteran job seekers and the agencies.  10 civilians and 8 military servicemen were presented the prestigious FAPAC 2012 Civilian and Military Meritorious Awards. FAPAC Launched Its Career Development Mentor Program

The Career Development Program for High Performers (CDP) in support of Executive Order 13583 on establishing a coordinated government-wide initiative to promote diversity and inclusion in the federal workforce. The kickoff orientation is scheduled for June, 2012. The CDP is seeking for more qualified mentors.
