These guidelines are divided into two parts. “Part A—Introduction and Basic Guidelines for Diversity Training” covers general diversity training principles, goals of diversity training, and internal review and control. Sections of “Part B—Principles for Implementing Diversity Training” are: establish clearly stated goals and learning objectives; use appropriate training approaches, methods, and materials; provide employees with advance information about the training; conduct training in a supportive, non-coercive environment; use only experiences, fully qualified instructors; monitor the training activity; and evaluate the training.
