New Edition of ISI Neuroendocrine Tumors Handbook Now Available
Inter Science Institute in California specializes in research and development in the area of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). The current 5th edition handbook, Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Comprehensive Guide to Diagnosis and Management, is now available for download on ISI's website or by contacting ISI at requests@interscienceinstitute.com. This is an excellent book to share with your physician!

A landmark conference on neuroendocrine liver metastases will be held in London, UK at The Royal College of Physicians on December 12 & 13, 2012. Monica Grundmann Dedicates Championship Ride to Carcinoid Cancer Awareness
Congratulations to carcinoid cancer survivor Monica Grundmann on winning the OCTRA 25 mi/40 km Competitive Trail Ride in Stormont, Ontario, Canada with her MORAB stallion, Excalibur Legend, on June 10th (check out those zebra striped gloves!!). Monica dedicated her ride to carcinoid awareness, the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation in the United States, and the Carcinoid NeuroEndocrine Tumor Society Canada. In honor of Monica others will be riding with zebra ribbons during future competitions! Monica is incorporating zebra striping on her saddle pad and wears zebra gloves!! Mud Cats Little League Team Raises Awareness for Carcinoid Cancer and Funds for the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation
To the amazing Mud Cats Little League Team, their coaches, families and friends we say a huge THANK YOU!!! Raising awareness about carcinoid cancer and funds for the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation was the goal of the June 2, 2012 Loudoun County, Virginia game and the results were incredible. There were over $4,200 in donations at the time of the game and donations are still coming in, now totaling more than $4,500!! Over 100 people attended the game on a beautiful, sunny day. Thank you so much for your generosity and support!!
