The National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) developed this web-based tutorial to meet the growing demands of National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) data users and to promote broader and more proficient use of the physical activity and cardiovascular fitness data. This tutorial is one of several NHANES Tutorials that have been developed. To use the tutorial, you can either start from the beginning and pursue the whole tutorial in a linear fashion, or pick and choose topics of interest presented in different modules.
