Congressman Rivera Keeps Pledge to Support Spending Cuts
As part of his “Pledge to District 25” Economic Plan, Congressman David Rivera (FL-25) vowed to fight for reductions in government spending. Today the House is taking up a resolution to consider reducing non-security spending to fiscal year 2008 levels or less. Rivera, who is voting for the resolution, believes that it is a good start to control Washington’s out of control spending.
