Plenty of downtime and more than enough ways to spend it Free Time

Enlisted Sailors and Officers are hardworking and dedicated individuals. But what do these men and women do with their free time? America’s Navy offers several travel and recreational opportunities, as well as generous vacation time.

In the Navy, you’ll have the chance to travel even when not embarked upon a ship. With as many as 30 vacation days to spend each year, you can use this time to relax, visit your family or venture to new places. You will see that downtime here isn’t much different than in the civilian world.
