Employment Opportunities for Veterans at NAVAIR

NAVAIR has a strong allegiance to veterans. The inclusion of the nation’s veterans into our workforce is a national focus and extremely important to the Command’s Recruiting Program. At NAVAIR, our mission is to provide our Sailors and Marines with the tools they need to complete their mission and return home safely. It is equally important to NAVAIR to continue supporting our veterans once they return home by offering support and employment opportunities as they transition into civilian career paths. At NAVAIR we seek to hire engineers, scientists and business professionals as well as technicians and tradesman to join our team of more than 24,000 civilians located across eight unique sites. All veterans who wish to be considered for jobs at NAVAIR can post their resume by clicking on the “submit resume” button located on the NAVAIR Careers Site. While this is not a formal application to a particular job vacancy, posting your resume to the Careers Site will give your qualifications the broadest exposure among hiring managers who have access to NAVAIR’s resume database.

Hiring Wounded Warriors

The NAVAIR Wounded Warrior (WW) Program seeks to recruit and provide training opportunities to any veteran with a 30% or greater disability rating from the Veteran’s Administration. At NAVAIR, the Combat Wounded Warrior Coordinator ensures that veterans with a 30% or greater disability rating who became wounded, ill or injured in combat in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom are considered for NAVAIR’s hiring and developmental opportunities.

We honor and respect the courage and sacrifices you have made to protect our country. NAVAIR is committed to recognizing your skills, talents and value. We are excited about the contributions you could bring to the NAVAIR team! To learn more about the NAVAIR Wounded Warrior Program, please email at NAVAIRWoundedWarrior@navy.mil.
