FLEET READINESS CENTERS
NAVAIR’s Fleet Readiness Centers are located at Cherry Point, NC, Jacksonville, FL and San Diego, CA. These centers utilize state-of-the-art management systems and best business practices to provide engineering, manufacturing and maintenance support to all Navy and Marine Corps aircraft, engines, related systems and components.
The centers are forerunners in performance-based logistics initiatives. They team and partner with private industry to provide more reliable and available assets to our Sailors and Marines. They perform in-depth overhaul, repair and modification of aircraft, engines and aeronautical components. They perform complete aircraft investigations and tests, and provide engineering support to the fleet. They work to integrate unique capabilities for airborne weapons systems that are technologically superior and readily available.
