Funded National, State, Local, Territorial, & Tribal Programs
CDC's Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) supports state, territorial, and local agencies and tribal governments to help build and strengthen their capacity to improve child and adolescent health.
DASH also supports national nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to provide capacity-building assistance to education agencies, health agencies, community-based organizations, institutions of higher education, organizations that serve youth and parents, organizations that serve youth at high risk for HIV infection, and DASH-funded NGOs.
In addition, DASH also supports six nongovernmental organizations in collaboration with the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and other CDC centers under collaborative cooperative agreements.
