State Agencies New York
New
York State’s Coordinated School Health Program (CSHP) is a collaborative
effort between the New York State Departments of Education and Health. The
CSHP works with schools, school districts, local health departments,
governmental agencies, and professional organizations to improve the health
and academic success of New York State’s children through the implementation
of the eight-component CSHP model. New York State receives funding from
CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health to promote coordinated school
health, provide HIV prevention education, and conduct the Youth Risk
Behavior Survey (YRBS).
