Proposed Regulation Changes

The Department of Revenue, Child Support Services Division, proposes to change regulations to: 1) increase the public’s accessibility to the agency, 2) update the regulations to conform to actual agency procedures, 3) simplify and clarify, 4) conform them to state rules, federal directives and regulations. Proposed Changes to Child Support Guidelines

The Alaska Supreme Court invites your comments on proposed changes to Civil Rule 90.3, the child support guidelines rule. (Please note that the committee’s review is limited to the child support guidelines and does not include issues related to CSSD enforcement.)

The deadline for comments is August 15, 2012.

Juneau Office Has Moved

Financial Statements

Case parties are able to view their child support financial statements online.  The first time you access the statements application, you must request a PIN.  Once requested, it will  be sent to you by mail.   After receiving your PIN, login to myAlaska and verify your account with your member number and PIN.  You will then be able to access the reports.   The statements can be viewed from your web browser or a PDF version can be created.  The financial reports can be accessed through myAlaska

Web Based New Hire Reporting

Employers can now report their new hires directly to CSSD by accessing the myAlaska website. If you do not have a myAlaska account for your business and need to create one, you may do so at https://myAlaska.state.ak.us by clicking on the “New User” link on the left side of the screen and entering the required information. By using the web based program you as an employer will save time, resources and costs. No more time consuming faxing, making disks or postal costs. If your business already has a myAlaska account, you can access the Alaska New Hire Reporting website at https://myAlaska.state.ak.us under “Businesses/Submit Employee Hirings to CSSD”. Guideline Calculator

This Guideline Calculator is a tool to help you estimate the amount of child support that may be ordered in your case. There are other factors, such as visitation or unusual expenses, which can affect the child support amount.


Visa Debit Card

CSSD offers a Free Direct Payment Card (DPC) to custodial parents receiving child support payments.  Future child support payments are loaded automatically to your card.  You can use the debit card to get cash, use it as a Visa credit card or pay your bills online, and you're using your own money. Customer Service Enhancement - Deposit Notification Alerts J.P. Morgan is developing a new way for debit cardholders to keep track of the funds in their accounts by offering Deposit Notification Alerts for various debit card programs. For more information => MyAlerts
