Mobile device users

The files on this site may be read on your mobile device using the device's browser. They may also be imported into freely available apps that convert PDFs into easy-to-read text for mobile devices and provide touch and swipe functionality.

Android-compatible devices: the Android Market has freely available readers. Adobe provides a free reader for Android for PDF documents.

iPad and iPhone: the App store has freely available reader options. The iBooks app for the iPad and the iPhone allows you to download, view, and navigate PDFs as mobile documents. To import a document into the installed reader, touch the PDF page and a horizontal gray bar will appear with the option "Open in iBooks." Press the button and the PDF will appear on the iBooks bookshelf.

Plug-ins/Viewers

Several file formats are used on this site for presenting text and tables. Most are automatically resolved by your browser but a few require separate, commonly available software applications. You may configure your browser to recognize and display these files or save the files to disk and view them later.

  • PDF PDF.: Adobe Systems Incorporated developed Adobe Acrobat Reader, a freely available viewer for files that conform to the Portable Document Format (.pdf) specification. The Reader allows you to view, navigate, and print PDF files across all major computing platforms. The PDF files closely match the formatting of our printed reports.
Adobe's Accessibility page is a resource with information on how blind and visually impaired users can access documents in Adobe PDF format. The site includes downloads and user guides for accessing PDF documents with assistive technology.
  • Microsoft Excel Excel.: The free Microsoft Excel Viewer lets you view and print Microsoft Excel for Windows (version 2.0 and greater) and Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh (versions 2.2a and greater) spreadsheet files.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint PowerPoint.: PC users who do not have PowerPoint installed on their computers can use the PowerPoint Viewer to view and print PowerPoint presentations exactly as they appear in PowerPoint. With this viewer, users can see animation, graphics effects, action settings, hyperlinks, and custom shows. Macintosh users who do not have PowerPoint installed on their computers can download a similar PowerPoint viewer for use on Macintosh systems.
  • Adobe Flash Player: The free browser plugin Adobe Flash Player allows users to view Flash content, such as maps and interactive graphs, available in some areas of the site.
