2009 Snake River Birds of Prey Festival Begins May 15: The Snake River Birds of Prey Festival will begin May 15. It will be three days packed with events for the entire family. Numerous lectures, tours and hikes will be taking place in Kuna and in the newly renamed Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area (NCA).
Murphy Travel Management Plan Issued by Owyhee Field Office: The Owyhee Field Office has issued the Murphy Travel Management Plan and accompanying NEPA Documents. The Plan designates a route system of 840 miles of roads and trails for use by motorized and non-motorized recreational vehicles, equestrians and hikers in an area of BLM managed public lands encompassing approximately 233,000 acres.
