Command Submitted Event Sample:

This annual event sponsored by local businesses honors retired and active service members with a parade and serves as the beginning to a summer festival for the public. Over 10,000 people are estimated to attend this event each year and television coverage is expected during the weekend. The Marine Corps will provide a color guard for the parade and the band will perform at the opening ceremony on the waterfront.
