Statewide Hand Hygiene Campaigns

The Maryland Hospital Hand Hygiene Collaborative campaign is an important statewide initiative to enhance the prevention of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) in Maryland hospitals. The goal of the Maryland Hospital Hand Hygiene Collaborative is to strengthen and compliment the work already being done to improve Hand Hygiene. - South Carolina
The South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA) launched a statewide hand hygiene initiative in the state’s nearly 100 public and private member hospitals last year called, “Save Lives: Clean Your Hands!” This clean hands campaign is a partnership with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global hand hygiene initiative to reduce healthcare associated infection (HAI).
