Small Business Administration(SBA) Publishes SBIR Policy Directive

On Monday, August 6, 2012, the SBA published amendments to its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Policy Directive. The purpose of these amendments is to implement those provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 affecting the program.  The Reauthorization Act made several key changes to the SBIR Program relating to eligibility, the SBIR award process, SBIR Program administration, and fraud. SBA will also hold several Webinars on this new directive.  The Office of Advocacy will hold a roundtable on the directive.
