Army

Army Emergency Relief (AER)  AER is a nonprofit organization that assists Soldiers and their family members by providing emergency financial assistance, when there is a valid need, in the form of interest-free loans, grants, or a combination of the two.

Army National Guard Consumer Affairs and Financial Assistance  The Army National Guard program provides financial education for Soldiers, civilians, and their families through classes, training, or information.  More information on available classes can be found through the National Guard Family Assistance Centers.

Army OneSource Financial Readiness  Army OneSource is the website of Army Community Service (ACS), the organization that provides family programs and services to members of the Army. This website assists  Soldiers, civilians, and their families by providing budgeting and planning calculators, links to information on retirement planning, and on-line financial training, as well as a link to an Internet application which creates a graphic display of a visitor's financial profile.

Army Reserve Family Programs Online Financial Readiness  The Financial Readiness section fo this website assists and educates Soldiers and their families by providing information on financial planning, financial readiness training, the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), and taxes.

Marine Corps

Marine Corps Personal Financial Management  The Personal Financial Management Program provides eligible personnel with education, training, counseling, information, and referrals for personal financial issues.

Marine Corps Financial Fitness Online Resource Center  This website provides interactive financial tools and information to assist Marines and their families in controlling their finances.  Topics include: financial planning, savings and investing, banking, credit decisions, using credit cards wisely, applying for credit, managing debt, and a "financial fitness checkup" application.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS)  NMCRS is a private, nonprofit organization that provides financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Navy and Marine Corps, eligible family members, and survivors when a valid need exists.  NMCRS provides interest-free loans and grants to Sailors, Marines, and their families to meet emergency financial needs.  NMCRS also provides financial education services such as budgeting counseling.

Navy

Navy Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) Personal Financial Management (PFM)  The PFM Program assists members of the Navy family by providing information, classes, training, and counseling to combat financial mismanagement, as well as proactive training to prepare Sailors and their families for future financial challenges.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS)  NMCRS is a private, nonprofit organization that provides financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Navy and Marine Corps, eligible family members, and survivors when a valid need exists.  NMCRS provides interest-free loans and grants to Sailors, Marines, and their families to meet emergency financial needs.  NMCRS also provides financial education services such as budgeting counseling.

Air Force

Air Force Community The Air Force Community website provides information and links on a number of financial readiness topics to include credit and money management, home and car buying, personal finance and investing, tax information, and emergency financial assistance.

Air Force Aid Society (AFAS)  AFAS is a private, nonprofit organization that provides emergency financial assistance to Airmen and their family members.  AFAS provides grants and interest-free loans to Airmen and their families who demonstrate an emergency financial need for essential costs, such as basic living expenses, medical care, funeral expenses, respite care, vehicle repairs, assistance with other emergencies, pay/allotment problems, and assistance to surviving dependents.

Air Force Compensation Fact Sheet  This fact sheet provides information on the benefits, entitlements, and opportunities available in an Air Force career.  The fact sheet also contains web links associated with each topic providing additional valuable information.

Coast Guard

Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA)  CGMA is a private, nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to members of the Coast Guard community during times of need.  CGMA provides persons associated with the Coast Guard, who demonstrate a financial need, with interest-free loans, personal grants, and confidential financial counseling and referral services.
