MilitaryINSTALLATIONS Has a New Look!

MilitaryHOMEFRONT is pleased to announce the launch of the new MilitaryINSTALLATIONS (MI) application. Customers will find many improvements on the website including consolidated information, easier access to information, increased speed, and more Additional Resources. Additional highlights of the new MI application include:

• a new look and feel
• a Fast Fact article providing a snapshot of all major installations
• states have now been incorporated into MI (The state pages include an extensive State Website Resource Directory, providing national, state, and local links to military programs or state locator pages; an article about the services provided by the Military OneSource JFSAP team in each state; and links to installations located in that state.)
• new Additional Resources showcasing the premiere DoD programs and services for each of the topics
• new tabs across the top making it easier to find major units, contacts, and the photo gallery
• more printing options on the print booklet page
• a new Children and Youth article written by OSD subject matter experts
• an MI User Guide, available from the homepage, to help customers familiarize themselves with the new application

The redesign of MI incorporates the most valuable functions of the current MI application, as well as Plan My Move, to create a user-friendly website containing vast amounts of installation specific and local community information.
