Washington Interagency Telecommunications System (WITS)
Federal agency customers can enjoy significant cost savings on advanced voice, video and data services under the WITS contract. WITS currently delivers service to over 831,000 federal users. The GSA National Capital Region WITS Program and Verizon are pleased to announce that effective September 9, 2009, the cost of installing a WITS 3 Centrex-like Analog Line has been reduced from an average of $121.00 to an average of $61.10. The WITS Program estimates that this reduction will save the federal government approximately $720,000 per year.
WITS 3 has replaced WITS 2001

Long Distance Telephone Services
Long distance service is provided at discounted rates to federal and Department of Defense (DoD) clients. Switched and private line service can be provided for voice, data, and fax. NETWORX provides agencies with even more choices.
