Hi, I'm Vashti. I hope you like my books and poems. I'm here to help you, the parent or caregiver, make sense out of the military happenings in the lives of your family members. Whether it is relocation, deployment, or dangerous work, my books and poems may help you explain things to your children in ways that they can understand.

Below are three books and five poems from the printed version of the Activity Center. Each piece can be used alone or together, so you and your children can read any of the books or poems before bedtime or during quiet time. If you need ways to help your child through these tough times, you'll find suggestion throughout the stories. We hope you enjoy the Activity Center!
