Thermometry in the Sensor Science Division

These projects span the range of contact and non-contact temperature measurement and applications from temperatures below 1 K to beyond 3000 K, including realization of thermodynamic temperature, determination of the Boltzmann constant, and advancement of temperature measurement and standards in areas such as environmental monitoring, process measurement and control, and manufacturing.
