+ Industry Trade Advisory Committee (ITAC) 16
The Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Standards and Technical Barriers to Trade (ITAC 16) is a unique public-private partnership jointly managed by the Department of Commerce and the Office of United States Trade Representative that engages business leaders in formulating U.S. trade policy.
The Trade Compliance Center (TCC) is the U.S. Government's focal point for monitoring foreign compliance with trade agreements to see that U.S. firms and workers get the maximum benefits from these agreements.

On March 19, 2003, Commerce Secretary Donald Evans launched the Department's Standards Initiative at the urging of industry associations that were concerned about the increasing use of both voluntary and mandatory standards as technical barriers to trade.

The 2010 Report on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT Report) prepared by USTR is a new, specialized report focused on significant foreign trade barriers in the form of product standards, technical regulations and testing, certification, and conformity assessment procedures.
+ 2009 National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers
National Trade Estimate on Foreign Trade Barriers (NTE) report is an annual series that surveys significant foreign barriers to U.S. exports. The report provides, where feasible, quantitative estimates of the impact of these foreign practices on the value of U.S. exports. Information is also included on actions taken to eliminate barriers.
