NCR Hosts Woman-Owned Small Business Roundtable

The GSA NCR Office of Small Business & Utilization held a Woman-Owned Business Roundtable where local women business owners discussed the successes, challenges and best practices they face today. GSA NCR’s Regional Administrator Julia Hudson, who opened the discussion said, “Women make history every day. We consistently meet the challenges of business and take care of families, employees and friends.”
Personal Property Management Hosts E-Waste Disposal Event
April 5, 2012
On April 5, 2012, NCR’s Personal Property Management team hosted an E-Waste Disposal event at its Springfield, Va., Personal Property Center in partnership with UNICOR. At the event, government agencies and the general public donated old and unwanted electronics to UNICOR’s recycling program. Nine pallets of equipment including computer equipment, printer cartridges, cell phones, and televisions were collected and will be shipped to UNICOR’s facility in Lewisburg, Pa., to be recycled.
