CERT Volunteers to Assist at MC200 Relay Race, June 12-13

CERT volunteers have been asked to assist at the MC200 (Madison to Chicago Relay Race) on June 12-13 by staffing various checkpoints throughout Southeast Wisconsin. This is a relay race that starts Friday in Madison and runs through the night, ending mid-day Saturday in Chicago. Spanning two states, eight counties and 200 miles, this is a unique public service event for CERT to be involved in. CERT will be working closely with ARES/RACES amateur radio operators to provide on-site guidance and assistance to relay participants at local rest areas/transfer areas.
