Running Saved Searches

• Saved searches can be run to retrieve total results, i.e., not limited to new citations. Click on the name of the search. [Show Me] Taking this action will not affect future updates.

Manually Updating a Search

If you answered No to the question about receiving e-mail updates, the search strategy will be saved and the My NCBI Saved Searches portlet will alert you to new citations. Click on the number of citations in the What's New column to view the new results in PubMed [Show Me]. When you return, your saved search list will reflect the day of the last manual or automatic update.
