Sailor of the Week Introduced

NAF Atsugi // October 4, 2012

This week’s Sailor of the Week is Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Cory Adams, a native of Mcclenny, Florida and 2006 graduate of Baker County High School. [I joined the Navy] because I was bored with what I was doing before the Navy and I wanted to try something different,” said Adams. “I was working at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Just working at a computer. Paperwork everyday.”

This week’s Sailor of the Week is Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Nicanor Ranas of Commander, Fleet Air Forward (CFAF). “[Ranas] is an exceptional Sailor,” said Chief Warrant Officer Steve Prosser, Ranas’ division officer. “His performance is always above expectations.”
