Security Guidelines Document
The Security Guidelines Document provides security guidance
for Federal, State, and local agencies that obtain information electronically
from the Social Security Administration (SSA) through information exchange
systems. The guidelines are intended to assist SSA's information exchange
partners in understanding the criteria SSA uses when evaluating and certifying
the system design for electronic access to SSA information. The guidelines
are also used as the framework for SSA's ongoing compliance review program
for information exchange partners.
