GrantsNet, a service of the Department of Health and Human Services, is a tool for finding and exchanging information about HHS and selected other Federal grant programs. It is part of the much-publicized national movement toward providing government resources to the general public in a more accessible and meaningful manner.

The National Institute of Health Grants & Contracts Page is managed by the Office of Extramural Research and includes links to information about NIH grant and fellowship programs as well as information about applying for an NIH grant or fellowship. You can also sign up for an electronic mailing list for the NIH Guide which contains funding announcements.

The Empowerment Zones and Enterprise Communities (EZ/EC) Program resulted from a Presidential initiative designed to afford communities real opportunities for growth and revitalization.

The National Library of Medicine's Extramural Programs Division provides a broad variety of grants to support research and development activities leading to the better management, dissemination, and use of biomedical knowledge.
