Compassion Capital Fund Evaluations, 2004-2011

The Office of Community Services which had administrative responsibility for the Compassion Capital Fund (CCF)Program partnered with OPRE to conduct evaluations of two of the grant programs supported through the CCF: the Demonstration Program and Communities Empowering Youth (CEY) programs.. The purpose of the Compassion Capital Fund was to expand and strengthen the capacity of faith- and community-based non-profit organizations in their ability to provide social services in low-income communities. Two evaluations assessed outcomes of both programs and another evaluation assessed the impacts of the Demonstration program.
