Employees and applicants must contact the EEO Office at: 700 Westpark Drive, 3rd Floor, Peachtree City, GA 30269 (phone numbers above), within 45 days of the discriminating act to begin complaint counseling. EEO counselors assigned to process informal complaints are appointed by the EEO Chief. They are not advocates for management or the complainant, but serve as an impartial third party.

POSH Guide: Unacceptable Behaviors

The following behaviors are unacceptable in the workplace.

  • Physical contact that includes touching, pinching, patting, kissing, rubbing up against, fondling, groping, grabbing or assault
  • Verbal sexual advances or propositions
  • Sexually suggestive or obscene letters, notes, invitations or email
  • Making or using sexual, derogatory comments, epithets, slurs and jokes
  • Leering, making sexual gestures, or displaying sexually suggestive objects, pictures, cartoons or posters
  • Displaying sexually-oriented pictures
  • Using sexually-oriented screen savers on your computer
  • Verbal abuse of a sexual nature, including graphic comments about an individual's body, or sexually degrading words to describe an individual
  • Unwanted sexual advances or attention
  • Obscene or sexual suggestive sounds
  • Obscene or suggestive gifts
