American Community Survey Data on Child Care

The American Community Survey provides nursery and preschool enrollment for children 3 and older. Data are available for the U.S., states, metropolitan area, and more specific geographic areas that meet minimum population sizes for the given survey year. Please see school enrollment for more information regarding ACS and early education enrollment. There are over a thousand detailed tables in AFF. Data are available from 2000 to present.
