  • STUTTGART, Germany — A full house of U.S. reservists assigned to U.S. European Command greeted Vice Adm. John Cotton, Chief of Navy Reserve, July 26 during a Town Hall meeting at Patch Barracks. The admiral acknowledged the positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm of reservists he met on his visits to Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq and Germany. Cotton leads a force of approximately 70,000 U.S. Navy Reservists serving around the world including Europe and Germany. As of July 22, 30 percent of the Navy Reserve is serving on active duty providing relevant and responsive support executing the Navy's mission.
