GSA to Hold First Quarterly IT Exchange Nov. 19 Federal Employees Invited to Attend Session and Phone-in Questions

WASHINGTON -- The first Quarterly Information Technology Exchange will take place in the General Services Administration (GSA) auditorium, located at 18th and F Streets, NW, Washington, DC, on November 19, from 1 - 3 p.m. EST. The theme will be "Creating More Effective Technology Infrastructures."
The Exchange will be broadcast via satellite to federal offices nationwide and will include live, interactive question-and-answer sessions. Federal employees may attend the session at GSA's auditorium or, if outside the Washington area, view the program and participate in the question-and-answer sessions at locations sponsored by GSA regions and at other Federal agencies with satellite downlinks. Employees are encouraged to check with their agency CIO or IT office to learn what arrangements have been made for their viewing and participation in the Exchange.

The Exchange provides an opportunity for senior IT leaders to inform and update the national Federal IT community on emerging issues and new directions. The Quarterly IT Exchange is scheduled to be held in February, May, August, and November and meets the need for a communication vehicle that can offer up-to-date-information to the largest possible audience."
GSA Acting Administrator David J. Barram will open the Exchange. The panel of speakers includes:
