Building on the events of the past three years, the Generation Prague Conference focused on the lessons of the Cold War and the new international security challenges and opportunities facing the next generation. Speakers included: Acting Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller; Assistant Secretary for International Security and Nonproliferation Thomas Countryman; David E. Hoffman, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Dead Hand; Daniel Kostoval, Director of the Security Policy Department, Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and many more.

The Generation Prague Conference 2012 panel was composed of Acting Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security, Rose Gottemoeller, Assistant Secretary for International Security and Nonproliferation, Thomas M. Engaging Youth:
 

On the margins of the Generation Prague conference, Washington Post Columnist and Pulitzer Prize winning author of The Dead Hand, David E. Hoffman, and students from U.S. universities discussed their views on President Obama’s Prague agenda, what nuclear nonproliferation means to them and offered contemporary solutions to the proliferation-related challenges that Governments are grappling with on a daily basis.  Learn more»
