Incident Description
We purchased a pair of the Eclipse Thermaback curtains and they gave off a very strong chemical odor. I dried them per their instructions and aired them out for several days outside, and the odor persisted. It gave me headaches and nausea.
We ended up having to return the curtains due to the smell. Apparently others have been noticing this issue recently, so I wonder if it is a change in the manufacturing process. I also noticed these curtains are made in China and with the lax safety enforcement there, I doubt the manufacturer's claim that these curtains "contain no hazardous" materials given its effects on us.
We are both in good health otherwise, do not smoke and do not suffer from significant allergies.

This product does not contain any hazardous material or chemicals. All materials used are standard home textile dyes and chemicals and the backing is an acrylic non hazardous material
