For almost two months, since early February 2012, the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) has been using airborne laser and imagery systems to conduct cooperative hydrographic surveys in the coastal waters of Belize.

Mine Warfare Group Helps in Search for Bonhomme Richard  (23 July 2012)
A four-member crew from the Oceanography Mine Warfare Center (NOMWC) Stennis Space Center, Miss., surveyed 41 nautical miles and had generated 22 contacts for French divers to examine in this summer's expedition to find the remains of the revolutionary warship Bonhomme Richard.
Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command Welcomes New Commander  (6 August 2012)
Rear Adm. Brian Brown relieved Rear Adm. Jonathan White as commander of the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (NAVMETOCCOM) in a traditional Navy change of command ceremony on Aug. 3 at Stennis Space Center.
