Vegetable Insect Research Objectives:
- Develop and improve conventional commodity treatments to meet quarantine
requirements for export of vegetable and deciduous fruits.
- Develop systems approaches for important pests of vegetables and deciduous
fruits to eliminate the need for quarantine treatments.
- Perform fundamental research to develop innovative methods and strategies
to reduce pesticide residues on vegetables and deciduous fruits meet domestic
and quarantine requirements of countries that import U.S. commodities.
