On behalf of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE), I would like to welcome you to the Warrior Resilience Conference IV website. The Fourth Annual Warrior Resilience Conference is scheduled for March 29-30, 2012, in Washington, D.C., at the Renaissance Hotel. This conference continues last year's theme of bringing Total Force Fitness, an initiative of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to line leaders and will focus on "Restoring Readiness: Individual, Unit, Community and Family" as part of the initiative's social domain.
The mission of this conference is to restore readiness and enhance resilience within the individual, unit, family and community. Conference attendees will engage in plenary, panel and breakout sessions where presenters will provide information and share experiences that augment and build readiness skills. Attendees will receive tools and resources that can be used by service members, units, families and communities to enhance resilience whether at home or in the field.
We will be continually updating this website with new conference materials so please check back often. We look forward to seeing you in March!
Sincerely,
George Durgin, CDR, USPHS
Chief, Resilience Division, DCoE
