Regional Freight Planning in Baltimore

Jocelyn Jones-Biographical Information-February 2001

Jocelyn Jones is a Senior Transportation Planner for the Baltimore Metropolitan Council (BMC), a position she's held for the past four years. At BMC, she manages their freight mobility and environmental justice programs. Prior to that, Ms. Jones worked at the DASH bus system in Alexandria, Virginia-responsible for planning, scheduling, and operations issues. She also spent four years on Wall Street as an analyst for J.P. Morgan.

Ms. Jones is a member of the Women's Transportation Seminar, Vice President of Hospitality for the Baltimore Roundtable of the Council for Logistics Management, and a new member of the Transportation Research Board's Committee on Intermodal Freight Transportation. She holds a Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and a business degree from Carnegie-Mellon University.
