Speckled Trout

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AFPN) -- An Airman parks the C-135C known as the Speckled Trout after the plane's fini-flight here Jan. 13. The aircraft was officially retired Feb. 10. Predators fly first ever four-ship sorties

CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- An MQ-1 Predator takes off from here during the first operational test of the latest upgrade to the Predator. The upgrade, known as the Multi-Aircraft Control system enables an operator to fly two-ship and four-ship Predator sorties. Roche, Jumper 'wear test' Osprey

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION NEW RIVER, N.C. -- A Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey lifts off a runway here. The MV-22 is a tilt-rotor aircraft. When turned toward the sky, the two wing-mounted rotors on the craft allow for a vertical takeoff like a helicopter. When turned forward, the craft flies as an airplane.
