Bevacizumab is approved to be used alone or with other drugs to treat:
- Colorectal cancer that has metastasized (spread to other parts of the body).
- Glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer) in patients whose disease has not gotten better with other types of treatment.
- Non-small cell lung cancer that is locally advanced, cannot be removed by surgery, has metastasized, or has recurred (come back).
- Renal cell cancer that has metastasized.
Bevacizumab is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
