On-Demand Training and Webinars

To learn more about renewable energy technologies, you can view previously recorded training sessions at any time—on demand. FEMP currently has the following webinar available:

• Introduction to Renewable Energy Technologies: Introduction to renewable energy technologies available for implementation at Federal sites. Hosted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on August 26, 2009.

• Introduction to Renewable Energy Technologies Hydropower Addendum: Addendum to the original Introduction to Renewable Energy Technologies webinar to add hydropower technologies to the presentation. Recorded August 26, 2010.

• Introduction to Federal Renewable Energy Goals and FEMP Services: Overview of Federal renewable energy goals and requirements, as well as available FEMP services and assistance. The recorded webinar was originally hosted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on November 4, 2009.

Alternative Finance Training

FEMP offers training on alternative financing mechanisms, including energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs), utility energy service contracts (UESCs), and power purchase agreements (PPAs). The following relates directly to renewable energy projects:
