FDIC Kansas City Region Regulatory Teleconference: Compliance Update Friday, June 17, 2011 On June 17, 2011, the FDIC's Kansas City Region will host a Regional Regulatory Teleconference. Our topic for the teleconference will be "Truth in Lending - Mortgage Loan Officer Compensation Rules.” The 2 hour session will cover the regulatory requirements including prohibitions in the following areas and include a discussion of frequently asked questions:
Our speakers, comprised of FDIC staff, will provide their unique insights from an examination perspective. The teleconference is primarily open to FDIC-supervised institutions in the Kansas City Region. Bank directors, officers, and staff members are welcome to participate. Given the nature of the topic, executive officers and others who are involved in decisions regarding loan officer compensation are encouraged to participate. Participants may call in from any location and are not required to be onsite at their institution.
