What is Mediation?

Mediation is a fast, inexpensive way to resolve EEO disputes.  At GSA we use trained mediators from outside the agency to work with all parties to reach a voluntary agreement on their own.  Mediators cannot make decisions or force decisions on any party involved in the dispute.

GSA has a tested method of resolving workplace disputes and restoring relationships between managers and employees.  Mediation has proven to be a "better, faster, and less expensive" alternative to resolving disputes and getting everybody back to work!
