Hazardous Weather Outlook
The deep low moving away from the New England Coast will create some gusty northwest winds through this afternoon. Increasingly milder air will flow into the region from the southwest over the next several days as high pressure builds over the eastern states this weekend. A cold front will pass through Monday night or Tuesday.

On this date in Pennsylvania Weather History...
14 to 18 inches of snow fell on the Lehigh and Upper Delaware Valleys. (1862)
Four late season tornadoes occurred - one in Bedford County, one near Centre Hall (Centre County), one (an F2) near Blue Mountain Ski Area (Northampton County), and one near Saylorsburg. Many other areas had straight-line wind damage, as a powerful cold front and squall line swept through the state. (1996)
