	Sailors assigned to the "Skinny Dragons" of Patrol Squadron Four (VP-4) depart Marine Corps Air Base aboard a Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Nine (VR-59) C-40A Clipper for a six-month deployment in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. A total of 390 Sailors from VP-4 will deploy over the next week in support of 5th and 7th Fleet operations in the Western Pacific, participating in anti-submarine warfare, reconnaissance, intelligence and surveillance over the six-month period. 	San Diego (Sept. 3, 2004) – U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms, assigned to Navy Region Southwest, board a C-40A Clipper, assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Seven (VR-57) for a flight to New Orleans. The Master-at-Arms volunteered for a 30-day assignment to assist with the relief effort. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations is led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense. 	Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines (Feb. 16, 2004) Ð A C-40A Clipper assigned to the "Sunseekers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Eight (VR-58) arrives at the Puerto Princesa Airport, carrying U.S. Sailors and Marines participating in Exercise Balikatan 2004. The exercise is an annual bilateral exercise designed to improve combined planning, combat readiness and interoperability of the U.S. and Philippine military forces. It demonstrates U.S. resolve and is consistent with the Mutual Defense Treaty and Visiting Forces Agreement and continues our commitment to train, advise and assist the government of the Philippines. (May 31, 2009) U.S. Navy reservists, U.S. Public Health Service professionals, representatives of several non-governmental organizations and college medical students board a Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR) 58 C-40A Clipper aircraft for Panama City, Panama. The personnel will replace another group to continue the Continuing Promise 2009 mission. The Navy reservists, and members of USPHS, NGOs, and medical students will work aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) to complete the four-month humanitarian and civic assistance mission in Latin America.
