Provides out-of-airframe “I” level test capability for Navy and Marine Corps turbofan/jet engines.
Description
Jet Engine Test Instrumentation (JETI) is an integrated, computer based automated test system for the purpose of “I” level testing of turbofan/ jet gas turbine engines with the capability to test either indoors or outdoors, aboard ship or in land-based environments. JETI provides programmable test capability, data acquisition, calculation and data plotting to satisfy all turbofan/jet engine test requirements IAW aircraft engine intermediate maintenance manuals. JETI was developed to support the F/A-18E/F, F414 digitally controlled engine both aboard ship and at land based sites.
Additional JETI Test Program Sets have been developed and allow for testing of J52, F402, F404 and F405 engines.
