LMDSS was developed to facilitate continuous action by NAVAIR and NAVICP Philadelphia logistics management teams to measurably reduce the life cycle support costs of aviation systems while protecting readiness. As a NALDA Phase II application, it incorporates data from existing maintenance, flight, cost, and material data bases into a structured and repeatable decision making process.
