This 2007 Metropolitan Statistical Area is comprised of the District of Columbia; Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, and Prince George's counties in Maryland; Arlington, Clarke, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Warren counties in Virginia; Alexandria city, Fairfax city, Falls Church city, Fredericksburg city, Manassas city, and Manassas Park city in Virginia; and Jefferson County, West Virginia.
