The National Archives at San Francisco
Our holdings are comprised of Federal records from northern and central California, Nevada (except Clark County), Hawaii, and American Samoa and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands. They constitute a major primary resource for the study of Asian-Pacific immigration, environmental and natural history, naval and military activity in the Pacific, the Native American experience, and many other aspects of United States history.
Also located in the Leo J. Ryan Federal Building, the Federal Records Center provides temporary storage of retired Federal records. Additionally, Records Management program staff provide assistance to Federal agencies.
